Summer is here and we know you are looking for the perfect rosé to enjoy with your friends and family. That’s why we have selected some of the best rosés from France and beyond for our summer 2023 collection. In this series of blog posts, we will introduce you to each of them and tell you why we love them.
Today, we continue with YL Rosé 2022 by Yves Leccia, a superb wine from the IGP Île de Beauté in Corsica. This wine is made from 100% Nielluciu grapes, a local variety that gives this rosé its distinctive character and freshness.
YL Rosé 2022 has a luminous pale pink colour and a very greedy nose of red fruits. The palate is fresh, easy to drink and slightly acidic, with a touch of minerality on the finish. This wine is elegant, lively and expressive, perfect for any summer occasion.
Yves Leccia is a renowned winemaker who has been producing wines in Corsica for more than 40 years. The YL range is his signature range, available in white, red and rosé. It bears the imprint of the magnificent Partinelone terroir, a clay-limestone soil on a schist base that gives the wines their precision and complexity.
This new addition comes to complement the UP Ultimate Provence Rosé 2022 by Ultimate Provence, a stunning wine from the Côtes de Provence AOP that we featured in our previous blog post. We also recommend you to try the Nereda Rosé Bio 2022 by Domaine Lafage, a certified organic wine from the Côtes du Roussillon AOP that we featured in our first blog post of this series.
Stay tuned for more blog posts where we will showcase other amazing rosés that will make your summer unforgettable!
