Chez Fred Paris 17

Tradtional french food with an extra serving of gourmet!

You cannot get a more traditional French restaurant than Chez Fred.

Chez Fred is full of rustic charm with only a light refresh of the polished bricks, folklore décor and memories of years before.

Since June 2021, chef Americo Martins Peixoto , who worked at “La Poule au Pot” with Jean-François Piège, has taken over the kitchen and moved away from the restaurants historical Lyonnais and Auvergne Bouchon delicacies to offer a more traditional French cuisine.

The chef revisits classic French dishes and showcases the freshest of produce. From foie gras, terrines or mimosa eggs to start, beef bourguignon, confit canard and blanquette de veau to follow, and cheeses and gourmet desserts to finish. Do not miss out on the Baba au Rhum!

This establishment has pleased gourmets since 1945, and continues to do so, but it will also please the wine connoisseurs of the world. Chez Fred offers an extensive selection of wines from Burgundy and Bordeaux and some notable favourites of the moment.

The restaurant has a few elusive seats on the terrace for the finer weather, a private space for 25 – 30 people and opens daily from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Average price per person is €60 – €80 and reservations are recommended!

In true French style – Bon appétit!
